"The Eyes Have It" Follow up

Looking at all the beautiful eye pictures on Friday made me want to get some more (especially since the ones I posted were from last summer). The weather was beautiful here on Friday- so out we went to the front yard. Here's a few of the shots I got:

Favorite Foto Friday: My Daughters' Eyes

This week's FFF theme is EYES! I've had this post set up for a few weeks now- just waiting for the opportunity/time to post it (they go with one of the songs on the playlist). My girls all have different eye colors! How cool is that? Its one of the first differences people notice when trying to tell if they are identical.I took these last summer- some of my favorite pictures of the girls are the close ups I have of their faces/eyes. Emily's eyes are so intense- she absorbs everything with her eyes and doesn't miss anything! She can be so sensitive too, bless her heart! Madeline's eyes are so blue! They sparkle all the time. She loves to read letters and signs as we drive along. Ashley has the longest eyelashes I have ever seen! Her eyes are always so serious and yet they are so sweet too- especially when she is playing "mommy" to her stuffed animals. All their eyes though- regardless of color- sparkle and dance whenever they are silly or mischievous (and know it!)!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday here in Southern California. The weather was beautiful (it was in the 80's) and the girls had a blast. We spent the day with family and friends- we couldn't have asked for better!3 generations of sisters!

Easter 2008!

I can't believe how early Easter is this year! I got an email that tells me it won't be this early again for another 95 years- phew! We are starting to feel better so we should be all healthy for Sunday! When I think about our past Easter's I remember that the first Easter was right after the girls were born. Ashley was still in the NICU and so we had a low key Easter that year. I can't seem to find any pictures of Easter 2005??? Here are some pictures of my Easter memories:
2006: Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house- such big girls walking down

Easter 2007: First egg hunt-not sure why we waited to do an egg hunt- but they really got into it and loved looking for eggs.
They especially enjoyed it once they discovered what was inside the eggs!

Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's- big girls sitting at the table, amazing how much changes in a year!

Birthday Fun by the numbers

3 excited birthday girls on their 4th birthday!

Well- our allergies have shifted into a cold, but all in all the girls are in good spirits and enjoying all their goodies! The party was great and the weather cooperated- no rain! Phew! It was very windy however making it pretty chilly towards the end of the day, but the girls didn't seem to mind. The jumper was a huge hit as always (best invention ever) and kept everyone happy. So I got this idea from another blog (Kiss the Frog 4 Me) so I thought I'd give it a whirl for the party stats:

24 balloons ordered/21 number that made it to the party (2 popped and one flew away)

60 cupcakes (30 for Elmo and 30 white with sprinkles)

3 cookie monster cakes made by mommy 12 candles3 times we sang Happy Birthday to You! (inside due to the wind)
3 sets of triplets (including ours) at the party!
4 sets of multiples when we include the twins!24 children under the age of 10!
42 adults

488 Dorothy's in the goldfish bowl guessing game won by Uncle Charles
216 Slimey worms in the bowl won by Mikael
50 Cookies in the jar won by Uncle Mike
2 friends home from Japan for their first birthday party

1 elmo jumper providing HOURS of entertainment!
286 pictures taken on MY camera
292 pictures taken on Michelle's camera
1 mommy in denial that she has three 4 year olds!

Birthday Part 1

I have so many things to share about the girls big day! Allergies have sidelined us so I will post in tidbits as sneezes allow :) Here is one of the highlights of the party for me:

This is what three sets of triplets looks like! Wowzers! And they all stood still for the picture!
