FFF- GREEN = SPRING!

Spring is here! Our peach and plum trees are in full bloom and its time for our annual peach tree pictures of the girls.

More pink than green, but still fun right? It's always a challenge to get them to stand next to the tree because of the bees. Maddie is ok with them- but Ashley and Emily go into a full dramatic meltdown at the sight of a bee right now- so trying to get a smile in the middle of a panic attack is tough! LOL To help them a bit I waited until the end of the day to take these pictures and most of the bees had gone off to their hives to rest. :)

Birthday Extravaganzas!

Phew! What a weekend! We are slowly emerging from birthday madness! The girls' 5th birthday was wonderful and they seem pleased with all the festivities. Here are some pictures from the various activities!
On Thursday 3/12 we had donuts with their class at school and they got these cute crowns from their teacher!
Saturday 3/14 was the day of thePrincess Fiesta at our house! Below are the crown cookie cakes I made- one for each!

My triplet mommy friends were there with their families- at one point we were discussing doing something with our kids once all the other kids left- then realized- these are ALL our kids! LOL

We had a treasure hunt for the king's treasure that a sneaky leprechaun took and hid!
The girls with Emma, Roman and Jacob!
Cake time!

Lots of wonderful presents!
My BFF Michelle was there bright and early and helped with the set up and keeping me calm :)
Of course we had a jumper and the adults all had a turn!
Ready to open presents!
Diving right in!

Sunday 3/15 was their actual birthday and we took advantage of the Disneyland "Free on Your Birthday" offer! Since we have annual passes- the girls got gift cards to spend with the equivalent of their admission price!
They also got Happy Birthday Buttons to wear!

It's a Small World is finally re-open!
We took the girls on Autopia for the first time! Uncle Rich took Maddie and Aunt Sara took Emily!

Titi Joann took Ashley and Mommy and Daddy rode TOGETHER- ALL ALONE! Woo-hoo!
We took this picture at almost 5 years to the minute the girls were born!

We were so happy that Sara, Rich and Joann could join us to celebrate! My parents were sick with a cold and had to stay home. Next time!
We ended the day with another first- a ride on the Monorail!
It was a great day- but we were all exhausted by the end! I lost my voice and also had a cold- but I wouldn't have done anything differently! I only get to plan one birthday party a year- so I'm going to make the most out of it! :)

I can't believe my babies are FIVE!

Memories Monday 3/9/09

My babies are going to be FIVE on Sunday! Plans are in full effect for their birthday party (which will be on Saturday)! My dad got the girls the shirts they are wearing in the picture below from the boat he likes to go fishing with. We were so happy they finally fit them! This was taken in July 2005!

After the party is over and the birthday hype is over- I'm going to do a post on Maddie and books. No wonder the girl can read- every picture I have of her as a toddler she has a book or magazine in her hands!

And for a sick update- I am hoping today is the last day of illness- we kept Emily home today from school as a precautionary measure. Fingers crossed we are out of the woods- we have a HUGE week ahead of us!!!

Our Super Stars!

We are very proud parents! Our girls performed for half time at the Los Angeles Clippers game last night at the Staples Center! WOW! We were so excited they got this opportunity to dance with Hype Studios and their Hip Hop class. Even more exiting was that all 3 girls danced this time around!Showing their "cool pose"It's been a rainy week here in SoCal- luckily it let up when we had to walk into the CenterWe were taken downstairs into a holding area behind the scenes (where all the players park) but got to come out of this tunnel to watch the crowd and game. We also got to see the Clippers Girls warm up and practice and got to chat with them. They use Hype Studios to practice at!Aunt Chelle kept us company- Daddy, Grammie and Titi Joann were in the stands.Almost time to go on (some of the cars in the background)SHOW TIME!Emily and Madeline are in the front row on the end, Ashley is in the second row on the end.Emily is paired with Miss Dani (their teacher- in shorts) Maddie and Ashely are on either sideAt one point the adult partners posed and let the "littles" perform on their own.Post performance- one proud mommy! With Miss Dani before leaving

We left immediately following the performance since it was late and a school night. I'm so glad we did because 5 minutes into the ride home Maddie got sick. Not sure if it was a fluke or not we pulled over and got her cleaned up and got back on the road. She made it almost all the way home before getting sick again (this time we were more prepared). About an hour after getting home Emily joined in the fun. It was a long night. They are both doing better now. Ashley had it last weekend so she is fine too.

It was a night we will never forget. I especially will always remember Maddie exclaiming, "I'm so proud of myself!" as we left the court. And proud she should be!

Memories Monday 3/2/09

Is it really March? How can this be?? Where did February go? Do I really have only 13 days until my babies are 5? What? How? No way! Can you tell I am in denial?? Sigh... it seems like yesterday that we were taking this picture... The girls were almost 2 months old in these pictures. Ashley was home finally from the hospital and we could take group shots again! We used the first one for their birth announcement.
So tiny and squished into my dad's chair (where only one can fit these days!). Yep- I'm in denial!
