So how do you keep 3 four year olds entertained when it is BEAUTIFUL outside and they can't enjoy it? We did a couple things actually- we hung a hummingbird feeder on the front porch that has delivered several hummingbirds for our viewing pleasure (no pictures of that yet). We also have been recording the evening Olympics and watching them with the girls in the morning. I was surprised that they were so interested (they told me to stop fast forwarding!) so we sat and watched several events (including the opening ceremonies) and decided what events we would like to do. Madeline and Emily wanted track and field events- but not my Ashley- she of course wants to do: the trampoline! Gotta love the spunk that girl has- even with a cold! While all this is going on Emily disappears and gets very quiet. Emily and quiet usually are not a good thing- this girl gets into everything she is not supposed to at record speed, I can't keep up with her! (should be an olympic sport- she's take the gold for sure!). Imagine my surprise when I call her to come out of hiding and see this...
Emily- the superhero- shall we call her "WaterGirl"? It was hysterical and the rest of us burst into laughter. She was VERY proud of herself and was more than happy to oblige me with a picture!
Emily's superhero face and muscles
Ashley had to get in on the action too...

Maddie took the cool approach to superhero fashion....sunglasses and mom's socks

Aww, poor girls. No one likes the sickies. Especially the parents. Cabin fever is bad enough with adults. With kids having it is dreadful for all. Glad they found some "Super" ways to entertain themselves. They are adorable.
