I love the feet on the toy! Poor thing had carpet print all over her when she finally woke! Ashley was close to asleep too- but dinner was more important. :)

How Its Made
A strange phenomenon is taking place in my house. My GIRLS are fascinated by the show "How Its Made" on the Discovery Science Channel! I walked into the front room the other day and all 3 girls (and daddy) were glued to the tube watching how SANDPAPER is made- sandpaper! And get this- when I had the nerve to ask them a question- they all shushed me! Well- thank you very much! So now the request for TV programming in the evening is- you guessed it- how's it made! Madeline always comes and tells me what is being made, "mommy, they are making tires." "Mommy, they are making violins." "Mommy they are making toilet paper!" Yep- fascinating stuff! It has very campy music that plays throughout. It's cute. I manage to get shushed every episode-" Shhhhh mommy, we need to hear the show!" Geesh!
We had a great trip to the gagoon on Friday- it was very crowded though (monday is for sure a better day to go). Several children were lost and later reuinted with their parents- and a couple parents were lost and reunited with their child. As we left they were making yet another lost child announcement and I was very glad Aunt Chelle was with us to help keep track of my three! They played really hard and when we got home Emily did something she hasn't done since her 3rd birthday- she took a NAP! Sure they've dozed in the van while driving- but this was a passed out on the floor mid play kind of nap! Poor thing was pooped out!

Ha!!!!! Love the toys all over the place - looks like my house!
Don't you just love being shushed?!? Makes you want to say "Hey - I'm the mom and I do the shushing around here!!"
Ahhhh, that is so cute! They all look so comfy and absolutely in AWE!
I like that show, but apparently not as much as your family. It is interesting how things are made. I believe there is a similar show on the same channel called Factory Made, or something like that.
Very funny story, thanks for sharing.
