FFF #19 Friends with Stuffing!

Favorite Foto Friday's theme this week is "Friends with Stuffing"! My girls have MILLIONS of stuffed animals that they adore- but there are those certain few that have special meaning. Ashley is the one that has taken to one stuffie the most... meet Tinsel!Tinsel is a red kitty cat that Ashley named herself- how she came up with Tinsel's name I'm not sure because it was no where near Christmas when we got him, but that is what she called him and that name stuck (most animals are named kitty or doggie). Tinsel is a member of the family, when I ask the girls about their day I have to ask Tinsel too. Tinsel gets a kiss goodnight and heaven forbid we can't find him! She doesn't have to have him during the day, but he must be there at night so he travels with us/Ashley for overnight trips. Ashley tells me that Tinsel is a boy right now, but on his birthday he will be a girl (interesting...) and that we have to have a pirate party for his birthday. Hmmm... I think we can arrange that- the gender issue, not so much!

Emily likes stuffed animals too, especially Grammie's. This is Grammie's bear...
There are also their favorite Shamu stuffies that Grandpa got them on our trip to Sea World this May...
They've spent many hours recreating the Shamu show with these!
I think MY favorite stuffies are the ones we got from Build A Bear last year right after their 3rd birthday- We took the girls to Downtown Disney and used gift cards from their birthday to purchase a lovie to replace their binkis. To seal the deal (literally) we put their binkis INSIDE the stuffed animals never to be used again! You can actually feel them in there still. No one ripped apart their lovie that night and they are still in tact. Napping on the way home... We named them all "Binki" for sentimental value. We said good-bye to binkis (yay!) and good-bye to naps (Boo!)!
To see more Favorite Fotos of Stuffed Loved ones make sure you check out Sarah's blog! My big project is for the most part DONE so I will be doing the big reveal on Monday! Stay tuned! We are going to the Skirball Museum today to see the Noah's Ark exhibit- pictures coming soon!

Oh I admit I can't pick a picture I love the most but I have one that made me laugh out loud at work *gasp* ... the 2nd one with Ashley and Tinsel spread across her belly is beyond cute. I love the girls photos with their giant Build A Bear Houses too - they might almost fit inside them! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!

Rebekah, Jaden & Baby#2 too

Hi there! SOrry I have been a stranger for 2 weeks. Life has been busy for us!

I caught up and read your past posts too. You gals have too much fun. I love how they were sleeping with their new build-a- bears. That is my Madeline's favorite store. She loves going there and picking out new outfits, etc. Of course every time she wants a new stuffed animals, but I stay strong LOL...

I hope you all have a great weekend.

What a great idea!!! I had never thought of anything like that. My 16 yr old gave all her "mimis" to Santa to give to babies that needed them and she got an extra toy.

Cute girls!

Love the name Tinsel, what a cute addition to the family. And how clever are you to think of build a bear for the binkie transition. Possibly the best idea I have ever heard of. Love build a bear!!
Have a great weekend!!

What a cool idea! We'll have to remember that when we're ready for Colter to ditch the binky.
