My mom had a few classes available for our local dance studio where she takes tai chi and offered to let the girls use them. So we walked down to Hype studios and let the girls take a Hip Hop dance class. Maddie was in heaven. Ashley (my "dancing girl") wanted nothing to do with it (maybe ballet would be more her style?) and Emily- well- Emily was more interested in the dance instructor's dog that was also there. But she did occasionally participate. Maddie loved every minute of it except she thinks she was doing tai chi- so we now call it Hip Hop Tai Chi.
Here are 2 videos I took- we are outside in the hallway watching through a glass so yuo hear all that is going on outside with Emily and Ashley- Ashley is the one saying "I can do that"- mmhmm- she sure didn't want to though!
