Rockin' and Rollin'

So I bet you are all aware that we had an earthquake here in SoCal today- in fact it was the girls' first one that they were awake for (we had a tiny one when they were babies and in the middle of the night). They did great through it and listened really well to me. We had just come in from Target and were settling in to eat lunch when it sounded like all 3 were running full force through the house. If you've never HEARD an earthquake, you won't know what I'm talking about, but try to imagine the sound a heard of elephants might make running through your house and that is what it sounded like.

Of course there were LOTS of questions (remember we are in the lovely "WHY?" phase) and lots of concerns about more earthquakes. Once it was over the phone started to ring and the "yes, we are ok" conversations started. It proved to be a topic the rest of the day and I tried to answer all the questions. Ashley told me tonight that her favorite part of today was "having an earthquake!" but that she was scared of them. If we can get her on rollercoasters, she'll have a blast, but will tell us all afterwards how she didn't like it. :) Gotta love that girl!

Glad everything is okay. So Cal was overdue for one - hopefully it'll be a while again before there's another!
